Canterbury is north of the channel ports of Dover and Folkestone in the county of Kent. You can go there by road down the motorway M2 from London or by coach or railway..
You could also take a coach tour which includes Leeds Castle, Dover and Greenwich. After being picked up directly from or close to your hotel, you will be taken straight to Leeds Castle for a unique private viewing before the castle opens to the public. From here, travel to the coast to have lunch (at an additional cost) in a charming inn overlooking the White Cliffs of Dover and with breathtaking views of the English Channel.
Your afternoon is spent enjoying the delights of Canterbury with its magnificent Cathedral, before heading to Greenwich for some free time to enjoy the markets, or an optional walking tour of this historic town. As the sun begins to set, board a luxury boat for a Champagne cruise along the river Thames taking you all the way back to London. What a day!
