What is a senior?
There is no simple rule as different organisations have different opinions. Officially according to the UK government seniors are men 65 and women 60 years or over. These are the ages at which the state pension begins.
However, certain organisations equalise the age at which one becomes a senior to 60. This is European Union influence. So free transport passes for London residents are now available to all at the age of 60.
There are frequently reductions for seniors at museums, theatres and so on. The age at which they become available varies so always ask
